The traffic police has decided the route regarding Sarhul’s procession. On March 24, the entry of large vehicles in the city will be closed from 6 am to 12 midnight. During this, all the big vehicles will reach their destination outside the capital through the Ring Road. On Wednesday, Traffic SP Haris Bin Zaman issued an order related to this. Here late night other officers including SSP and DC inspected various Akhara and temples.
Entry of normal vehicles closed at Sirmtoli Sarna Sthal and Main Road from one o’clock in the day:
On the day of the Sarhul Shobhayatra, the entry of normal vehicles will be prohibited from one o’clock towards Sirmtoli Sarna site and on the main road. SSP Awas Chowk to Kachhari Chowk, Shaheed Chowk, Upper Bazar to Shaheed Chowk, Zakir Hussain Park to Commissioner Chowk, Chadri Talab to Albert Ekka Chowk, Church Road to Main Road, Near Wool House to Main Road, Purulia Road to Sarjana Entry of normal vehicles will be prohibited from Vishnu Cinema Marg, from Western Upper Bazar towards the taxi stand towards the Chowk.
Vehicles coming from circular road will be able to go till Jail Chowk only. The operation of normal vehicles will remain closed in the Thadpakhana route. Entry of normal vehicles will be prohibited in the road coming from Zakir Hussain Park to Commissioner Chowk, Radium Chowk, entry of normal vehicles coming from Karbala Chowk to Ratan Police Post, PP Compound towards Sujata Chowk will be closed in the main road.
The entry of general vehicles will remain closed from Rajendra Chowk to Overbridge, towards Sujata Chowk, from Patel Chowk towards Sirmatoli Chowk, Jamshedpur Road from Namkum area via Chutiya Ketari Bagan to Sirmatoli Chowk or Bahubazar Chowk, Piska Mor to New Market Chowk. Vehicles will be able to ply from Kantatoli to Bahu Bazar and leave towards Namkum via Chutiya police station.
1000 additional soldiers will be deployed
During Sarhul, 1000 additional police personnel will be deployed for security. This includes arms bandh and danda party. In these, the companies of Rap, Zap, Echo, SIRB, IRB have been included. Force has been deployed at all places in the capital.
Lighting will be arranged at the main places of the procession.
A meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha to celebrate Sarhul, Ramzan and Ram Navami in a cordial atmosphere. In the meeting, the members of Sarhul, Moharram Committee and Mahavir Mandal Committee gave many suggestions. The members of the Muharram committee said that a Ram Navami procession would be held in the holy month of Ramzan. The committee will make every effort to ensure that there is no unnecessary crowd at sensitive places. The DC said that lighting will be arranged at the main places of the procession.
The Municipal Corporation has been instructed to appoint a nodal officer and share its information with the concerned police stations and committees. The committees were also urged to give information about repairing of roads and where to arrange lights. So that the work can be done as soon as possible. The members of the Mahavir Mandal Committee said that the festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated in a cordial atmosphere. This time also cooperation will be received from all sections of the society. SSP Kishore Kaushal, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) RN Alok etc were present in the meeting.
