According to police, the argument escalated, and the driver of the truck got out of his vehicle on Temple Drive near 64th Street. Police believe he kicked the passenger side of the Chevrolet vehicle. The car then stopped and collided with the driver of the truck, who was hit and pushed into a nearby tree. The driver of the GMC truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested two men in the car and charged the driver, Steven Allen, 34, with murder. The passenger was released without charge.
