Under this objective, Minister of Social Security, Women and Child Development and Social Justice Empowerment and Minorities of Punjab Dr. Baljit Kaur performed a free operation on the right eye of Gurjit Singh, a mentally retarded patient of Muktsar district, which was completely successful.
Cabinet Minister Dr. Sharing more information, Baljit Kaur said that the left eye operation of Gurjit Singh son of Sri Chand Singh village Ratta Khera aged 40 years was also done by him when he was in government service. Now this patient has been operated on the right eye.
He said that these people always give motivation to work ahead in life. He said that this person will now be able to see the society with his own eyes and will be able to live his good life.
Dr. Baljit Kaur said that by serving the people, their soul gets peace. The minister further said that the main purpose of his life is to serve the people of the state.
