Patna. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has set a target of opening Sangh shakhas in every mandal and city of the state by 2025 and doing regular activities in it. In 2025 itself, the Sangh is completing 100 years of its establishment. Along with this, on the occasion of completion of its centenary year and 2550 years of Lord Mahavir’s Nirvana, the organization has decided to spread the message of Mahavir to the masses by making Bihar the focal point.

Dr. Mohan Singh, North-East Area Karyawah of the Sangh, who returned from the Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha, told in a press conference on Thursday that the centenary year campaign of the Sangh would be based on the ‘self’ trilogy of Swadharma, Swadeshi and Swaraj. In this, the messages of Lord Mahavir, who will be incarnated on the land of Bihar, will play an important role. This huge organization of the world has started working on a detailed plan to solve burning problems ranging from environment to self-employment. Apart from Lord Mahavir, celebrations will also be held across the country on the occasion of the 350th year of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s accession and the 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.

1608 branches are being set up at 1132 places in Bihar

The North-East Region Karyavah told that at present there are 1608 branches of the Sangh at 1132 places in Bihar. Apart from this, weekly meetings are held at 569 places and Sangh Mandali at 69 places. Sangh is doing service work at more than 200 places in Bihar. According to the province, there are 948 shakhas at 713 places in North Bihar and 660 shakhas at 419 places in South Bihar. Sangh’s plan is that by 2025 Sangh shakhas will be established regularly in all mandals, towns and settlements.
