BSF jawans recovered 3 packets of heroin

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at the Ferozepur border have foiled another attempt by smugglers based in Pakistan. BSF personnel have recovered three packets of heroin that were smuggled across the border. At present, the packets of heroin recovered by the BSF personnel have been sent for investigation. In which there is a possibility of about 3 kg of heroin.

According to information, BSF personnel were patrolling the Ferozepur border. Meanwhile, his eyes fell on a yellow packet lying in the fields. The packet was wrapped with tape. After this, the jawans started searching in the surrounding area. The jawans found two more packets there. Pakistani smugglers threw them across the barbed wire fence at the border so that Indian smugglers could retrieve them. But the jawans controlled that packet in time.

The consignment of heroin seized by BSF personnel is yet to be opened. But its estimated weight is being said to be around 3 kg. The international price of which is being said to be Rs 21 crore. Along with this, the BSF has recovered a rifle and cartridges in an abandoned condition near the Ravi river on the Amritsar border.
