BSF jawans busted Pakistani drone, recovered 2 kg of heroin during search

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Amritsar on Sunday night once again destroyed a drone that entered from the Pakistan side near village Dhanoy Khurd. BSF recovered an iron ring along with a consignment of heroin during a search in the field. BSF personnel have recovered more than 2 kg of heroin from inside the recovered packet.

According to a BSF spokesperson, the jawans were patrolling the Indo-Pak border on Sunday night. Meanwhile, a unit of the force patrolling near the border village of Dhanoy Khurd heard the sound of a drone entering from the Pakistan side and fired at it to stop it. Soon after this, BSF personnel cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation.

Let us tell you that earlier on Saturday night too, the Border Security Force had shot down a Pakistani drone in the fields outside village Dhanoy Khurd. Along with this, the jawans also arrested a smuggler. During the search, 3 kg 400 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of the accused. After this, the jawans arrested the smuggler.
