BSF jawans arrested drug smugglers including heroin

Smugglers sitting in the border villages are bringing heroin from Pakistan and sending it to different parts of Punjab. The Border Security Force has arrested three smugglers in Dhanoy Kalan village of Amritsar sector. These smugglers came from Pakistan to get heroin through drones.

In fact, at around 12.15 on Sunday night, the force personnel heard the sound of drone activity. Along with this, the sound of something falling in the field was also heard. The force personnel reached the fields at the same time. Meanwhile, two smugglers had reached here to take the consignment. Force personnel caught them. During the interrogation, they also gave information about the third smuggler who was caught.

525 grams of heroin coming from Pakistan has been recovered from the smugglers. A minor is also among the smugglers caught. Nowadays, Pakistani smugglers have accelerated the process of sending heroin through drones. These smugglers are sending consignments through small drones. Local smugglers living in the border villages are taking this consignment and sending it to different parts of Punjab. BSF and Punjab Police are keeping a constant watch on the suspects.

On Monday morning, the force personnel conducted a search operation in Rania and Kakar villages. The information was that drone activity has been heard in these villages. During the investigation, the force personnel recovered a packet from the consignment. 434 grams of heroin was recovered from it. This packet also had a ring to hang it from the drone. The drone has not been recovered yet.
