Big action by Punjab Police against drug trafficker, assets worth 25 lakhs were frozen

Ferozepur district police took a major action against the drug trafficker. The police have frozen the illegal assets of drug smuggler Paramjit Singh alias Pamma worth Rs 25,00,000. Paramjit Singh made this fortune by dealing in banned drugs.

A case was registered against Paramjit Singh at Sadar Moga police station after drug pills were recovered. A 7.5 marla house built in his village Ruknewala, worth Rs 25,00,000, has thus been frozen as illegal property. Freezing orders are pasted outside Pamma’s house.

Freezing orders of illegal assets of 14 drug smugglers have been sent to the competent authority in New Delhi by the police. While taking action against drugs, action is being taken according to the code of conduct to attach the properties of 15 other drug smugglers. Under this campaign, special teams have been formed under the supervision of all gazetted officers of the district police.
