Big action has been taken by NIA against the gangsters. NIA teams are simultaneously raiding more than 70 places in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chandigarh, UP, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh.
This is the third major raid by the NIA in various parts of the country in six months to break the gangster-terrorist nexus. All this action has been taken by the NIA in connection with the cases registered against the gangster and his criminal syndicate. This raid is being conducted on the basis of the interrogation of a person of Lawrence Bishnoi gang by NIA in the last 3 months.
Apart from this, NIA is conducting raids on the patrons of various gangs active in Punjab. The purpose of today’s raid by NIA is to find out where the arms are being supplied to the gangsters.
The major gangster syndicates being raided include Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Kala Jathedi gang and Neeraj Bawana gang. An NIA raid is underway on Lawrence Bishnoi’s associate Kulwinder in Gandhidham, Gujarat.
It is being told that Kulwinder has been associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for a long time. Even before this, there were cases of giving shelter to people of Bishnoi gang. Kulwinder is also associated with an international drug syndicate.
