Rural bandh from 6 am to 4 pm on 16 February 2024 to end corporate loot, save agriculture and save India: Sanyukta Kisan Morcha issues guidelines
The Sanyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has issued the following guidelines for Rural Bandh on 16 February 2024:

SKM appeals to people across the country to support and cooperate in making the historic struggle to end corporate loot, save agriculture and save India a success.

Villages will remain closed on 16.02.2024 from 6 AM to 4 PM. Villages will remain closed for all agricultural activities/MGNREGA works/rural works; No farmer, farm laborer and rural laborer will go to work.

Supply and purchase of vegetables, other crops will remain suspended; All village shops, grain markets, vegetable markets, government and non-government offices, rural industrial and service sector establishments and private sector establishments are requested to remain closed.

Shops and establishments in cities will remain closed during the bandh period.
General public and private transport will not run on the roads. This route will be opened for ambulance, death, marriage, medical shops, newspaper supply, board exams, passenger emergency services to the airport.

Farmers laborers and other sections will participate in the massive Chakka Jam/Rasta Roko from 12 noon to 4 pm.
Massive demonstrations/rallies and public meetings will be held at Tehsil and District Centres, where farmers, laborers and other sections of people along with their family members will participate.
