Bassi Pathans: The cases of violent clashes are continuously increasing in the state. The news of people clashing over trivial matters keeps coming up due to which the law and order situation in the state is deteriorating. Meanwhile, firing has taken place between two parties in Basi Pathans of District Fatehgarh Sahib.

According to the information, after the violent clash between two parties in Bassi Pathan last night, two injured persons were admitted to the Civil Hospital here. Meanwhile, the supporters of both sides who reached the hospital fired bullets in the air. Panic spread among the staff of the hospital due to the firing and the police officers quickly took control of the situation within a few minutes. However, no casualties were reported during the firing incident.

According to the information received, a dispute was going on between two Aartis in the grain market of Basi Pathans over rice for some days. After the dispute last night, a scuffle broke out between Sameer Khan, who was working as a bookkeeper at an Aarti, and Naresh Kumar of the other party.

Both were injured. Both parties brought their respective persons to local hospitals for treatment. After the conflict between the two parties here, some persons shot in the air. Basi Pathans DSP Amarpreet Singh and Police Station Head Inspector Harvinder Singh reached the hospital with a large number of police forces and brought the situation under control. He said that the weapons registered against both the parties have been seized. Two people have been arrested in this regard.
