Amit Kumar, who has been running Maa Sheetla Mishthan Bhandar in Badhiya for the last 28 years, said that there is plenty of milk available here. Farmers themselves deliver milk here instead of dairy. Better milk is available at a lower price than this. Apart from this, sugar syrup is also used less.

Two and a half thousand people have got employment

There are more than 50 Rasgulla shops here, where about one to two quintals of sweets are sold every day. Artisans and laborers are also employed to make it. About 20 to 25 people work in a shop here. According to this, about two to two and a half thousand people’s house is running from the business of Rasgulla. Many farmers are also running their employment by selling their milk in the local market.
