In Amritsar, a single boy shot a girl for refusing to have a relationship. The girl is admitted to the hospital and her condition is said to be serious. After receiving the complaint, the police reached the spot and started action based on the statements of the family.
The incident took place in Amritsar’s Friends Colony. Amoldeep Kaur, who lives in the colony, was standing outside the house. Then two youths came on a motorcycle and shot the girl three times and escaped. The girl’s family members immediately admitted her to the hospital.

In the statement given to the police, the family members have named an ASI posted in the Amritsar police line and the son. Amoldeep’s grandfather said that earlier the accused and his granddaughter were friends but after seeing the actions of the accused, she withdrew. Several times a complaint was made in the police station, but he was harassing her repeatedly. Once the ASI and his son went to the police station asking for forgiveness.
SHO Khushbu Sharma said that the investigation of the matter is going on. The victim’s family is already fighting and the complaints are pending in the police station. The incident will be known only after the investigation regarding those complaints. At present, the action has been started on the basis of the statements of the family.
