Punjabi Girl honored by New Zealand Ambulance Department: The Ambulance Department of New Zealand (St. John) yesterday honored the country’s ambulance officers and senior officers (72 in total) by the country’s Governor General. It was a happy thing for the Indian community living in New Zealand that a Punjabi girl, Pinki Lal, was also included among these honored ambulance officers.

Gurdwara Sahib Beghampura Chairman Ram Singh is very proud of his daughter. Punjabi girl Pinky Lal works as an ambulance officer in Dunedin. Pinky Lal was honored with the title of ‘To Be Member’ among the ambulance staff personalities to be honored by King Prince Charles-III of England and New Zealand.

The badge of honor was placed on the shoulder by the Governor General of the country Honorable Cindy Kiro. It also received a certificate of honor signed by Prince Charles.
