A day before the elections in Pakistan, there were explosions in two areas of Balochistan. In which a total of 22 people are reported to have died. Balochistan Acting Information Minister Jan Achakzai told ARY News that the blast in Pishin district was the result of an improvised explosive device (IED) attached to a motorcycle. Where a total of 12 people were killed. While the second blast took place in Fort Saifullah of Balochistan province. It is reported that 10 people were killed in this blast.

Let us tell you that these bomb blasts took place 24 hours before the voting for the elections of the National Assembly and four provincial assemblies in Pakistan in Balochistan. Apart from the 22 dead, many other people have also been injured. Some of them are in critical condition and are being treated at Khanozai Hospital. Currently, no one has claimed responsibility for this attack. The police have started an investigation into the matter to find out who carried out the attack and why. Security personnel are deployed at the spot.

Elections for National and Provincial Assemblies in Pakistan are to be held tomorrow i.e. on February 8. Polls will open at 8 am (05:00 GMT) and close at 5 pm (12:00 GMT). Voting time may be extended in some constituencies if allowed by the Election Commission.

Earlier there was an attack in Pakistan's Dera Ismail Khan. 10 police personnel were martyred in a terrorist attack on a police station here. The attack took place after midnight, when most of the policemen were sleeping. The sleeping policemen were attacked and the police could not retaliate. In recent times, there have been continuous terrorist attacks in Pakistan and the interim government of Pakistan has failed to stop them.

Recently, a similar incident was seen in Nushki district of Balochistan. Meanwhile, a bomb blast was seen outside the office of the Election Commission of Pakistan. However, there is no news of any casualty in this blast. Earlier in November 2023 too, terrorists targeted a police post. There was news that a policeman was injured in this terrorist attack.
