According to information, 33-year-old farmer Gurjant Singh, who was going to join the farmers' movement at Shambhu border, died in a road accident near Rajpura at five o'clock this morning.
The accident took place between a truck and a tractor-trolley. In which the tractor-trolley went out of control and overturned towards the fields. Gurjant Singh, who was driving a tractor, died in the collision.
It is being told that Gurjant Singh belongs to BKU Sidhupur. He is a resident of village Mansoorwala near Zira town of Ferozepur district. Gurjant Singh is the father of two children. Many other farmers have also been injured in this accident, who are undergoing treatment at the Rajpura Civil Hospital.
