Bureau Report: An attempt was made by a young man to desecrate Gurudwara Baba Zorawar Singh, Baba Fateh Singh located in Indira Colony of Ludhiana. He was immediately arrested and beaten up by the people. The accused has been identified as Praveen Kumar.

The people present on the spot saw the young man in the Gurdwara Sahib without his head. After this, he started commenting with wrong words to a woman sitting in the Sangat. That person was arrested immediately and then on the spot
The policemen were called. ACP Gurdev Singh who reached the spot said that the youth belongs to EWS Colony. On Saturday, he went to the Gurdwara Sahib bare-headed. Sri Guru Granth Sahib was walking around. He went and sat in front of the woman.
Being said to be weak of mind
According to the police, he entered the Gurdwara Sahib and began to abuse the people, due to which a case has been registered against the youth. Some people said that the young man is mentally retarded. He is being examined by doctors. The CCTV cameras installed in the Gurdwara Sahib are being checked.
