The fourth meeting of INDIA alliance will be held today in a hotel in Delhi. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge will participate in it. SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Farooq Abdullah, Umar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and RLD's Jayant Chaudhary will be present in the meeting.

In this meeting, issues like strategy and distribution of seats for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections can be discussed between the opposition parties. Apart from this, the election results of five states can also be discussed. Seat distribution may be the biggest issue for the Congress as Mamata had raised questions on the seat distribution after the Congress' defeat in the Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh elections. On December 18, there may be a discussion on the suspension of 78 MPs from the Parliament.
