An 18-year-old boy was killed in Gurdaspur

A youth of Longowal Khurd village of Batala in Gurdaspur district of Punjab has been murdered. Following an old grudge, some youths attacked the only 18-year-old son of the parents with sharp weapons and seriously injured him in broad daylight. People took him to Civil Hospital in Batala, from where he has been referred to Amritsar.

It is being told that the young man died during treatment on Saturday night. The family has demanded strict action against the accused from the police administration. A video of the youth being attacked with sharp weapons has also come out, which has been handed over to the police. The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Aryan.

Mother was preparing to send abroad
The mother of the deceased Aryan said that Aryan had a friendship with a girl from the village, due to which some youths threatened to kill him. He explained to his boy and refused to talk to the girl. Aryan had now withdrawn from the girl but on Friday night the girl’s family and their friends entered the house and had a fight.

According to the woman, when Aryan went out of the house on Saturday, seeing her son alone due to enmity, the accused surrounded him and attacked him with sharp weapons and injured him. I was preparing to send Aryan abroad because of the girl but before that Aryan went somewhere else.
