While a person was going home after withdrawing money from a bank locker in Amritsar, he was robbed of 62 lakhs on the way. The person from whom the robbery took place is said to be the owner of the gym. The robbers who came riding in the car blocked the way of the owner of the gym and then escaped after looting the money. The police are checking the CCTV.
ACP Sarabjit Singh said that gym owner Bakhtawar Singh Shergill, who lives on Padri Road in Gharinda, withdrew 62 lakh rupees from the Bank of India locker. When they were returning with it, two cars stopped in front of them near village Mahal. One was an Innova and the other was a sedan car. The robbers got down from the car and escaped with the bag.

In the initial investigation, the police are finding the case suspicious. ACP said that the investigation of the matter is going on. They are being questioned about where they were taking this huge amount of money. Why was a large amount like 62 lakh kept in a locker instead of depositing it in the bank? An inquiry is going on about this too. On the other hand, a case of robbery of 22 lakhs and 50 lakhs has come to light in Jalalabad. CCTV images have also come out in this case.
22.50 lakh was looted on Friday afternoon at a petrol pump near village Amir Khas located on Ferozepur Marg in Jalalabad. The entire incident has been captured in CCTV. As soon as the victim Gursevak Singh got out after filling his car, 2 youths came on a motorcycle and took away the bag from the Gursevak at gunpoint and escaped.
The SSP said that they will trace the matter soon
Fazilka SSP Manjit Singh Desi reached the spot as soon as he got the information about the incident. SSP Dasi said that a person named Gursevak had brought some cash from his house. On the basis of CCTV, the police is looking for the accused. There are some important clues in the hands of the police on which the police are working.
