She became a mother for the first time at the age of 14
Veronica admits she wants to be like mum-of-22 Sue Radford. Veronica Merritt had her first child at the age of 14 and admits she became a repeat mother after her first pregnancy. 37-year-old Veronica separated from her second husband in 2021. She said that now she wants to marry a man who has at least 10 children, making her number of children 22.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, the mother of 12 says – “I want more children so I will look for a husband again but I want a husband who already has children. “If I could find a man who would have ten children of his own and have a big family of our own, that would be perfect. Honestly, I would be very happy.”
‘We want to make Britain’s biggest family’
In fact, Veronica hopes to create Britain’s biggest family. “I love raising my family, so I wouldn’t mind having any kids,” says Veronica, “I’m really envious of families like Sue Radford, who has 22. There are children.”
‘I want six children, if I get more…’
“I definitely want to have at least six more children,” she says, “but if we have more, all the better.” If I can get pregnant with 11 kids at once and know they’ll all be fine, I don’t care what happens to my body. A doctor jokingly told me I was supposed to have children and I guess I took it seriously. Veronica is looking for her new husband but says she won’t settle for anyone.
I will choose a partner thoughtfully
“I was with some people who didn’t make me happy and our marriage was filled with sadness,” says Veronica. So now I will choose my partner wisely.’ She says: “I was going to have my tubes tied when I had my seventh child but when the surgeon talked to me about it I thought ‘wouldn’t it be nice to go to number ten?’
