Agniveer JCO Recruitment Process Start, Online Exam

Agniveer Recruitment CEE:Recruitment Screening Test Common Entrance Examination (CEE), the first phase of the recruitment process for Agniveers, Junior Commissioned Officers and others under the Agnipath scheme, started online from April 17, 2023. The Common Entrance Test has been conducted at 375 examination centers and will continue till April 26. Meanwhile, candidates can get information about the Common Entrance Test by checking the notification. The Army has recently announced a change in the Agnivir recruitment process. Candidates will now first have to appear for online CEE, followed by medical fitness and medical tests. Earlier only physical fitness test was conducted for the candidates. After that the final stage is medical test and CEE.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Defense said that the Indian Army has changed the process for recruitment of Agnivir, Junior Commissioned Officers and other categories with the introduction of Computer Based Online Common Entrance Test as the first step. This online examination is being conducted with the help of Mini Ratan Company Education Consultancy Services India Limited under Ministry of Education.

CEE is being organized after the improvement in technology

According to the ministry, the technology sector of the youth in the country has improved and with increased network connectivity and the proliferation of smartphones, the youth have been empowered to take exams online instead of traveling long distances.

The new recruitment process will be completed in three phases
In the first phase, all the candidates who have registered and applied online will have to go through the online CEE i.e. Common Entrance Exam.

In the second phase, the shortlisted candidates will be called in phases for recruitment rallies after June 2023, at locations designated by the respective Army Recruitment Office where they will undergo physical fitness test and physical measurement test.

In the third and final stage, the selected candidates will undergo a medical test. After this the final merit list of successful candidates will be announced.
