Former MLA Kulbir Singh Zira said that all this happened because of Sidhu's indiscipline.

Navjot Dahiya said that Sidhu is not a team player. They play against the team they belong to. Inderbir Singh said that in 2022, when Charanjit Singh Channi was announced as the chief ministerial candidate, at that time Sidhu was sitting with him, despite this, he chose the agenda of glorifying himself. Birindermeet Singh Pahra, MLA from Gurdaspur, said that Sidhu never supported the party's agenda.

He also failed as Congress president. Sidhu could neither perform as a team captain nor as a player. In a statement issued by Youth Congress President Mohit Mohindra, Lakhbir Singh Lakha, Davinder Singh Ghubaya, Khushbaz Singh Jatana, Amit Vij, it was said that because of Sidhu, the Congress had been weakened before and is still happening, so the party needs his help. Instead of tolerating indiscipline, they should show a way out of the party.
