They were never launched in the market for the general public. This is the reason why they have become very rare nowadays and people are ready to pay huge prices to buy them.
Now these sneakers are being auctioned by Sotheby’s. “Predominantly white, the old-school rainbow Apple logo – on both the tongue and sides – is a striking detail,” the auction company wrote on its website.
“Never reaching the general public, this particular pair of sneakers is one of the most obscure in existence and highly coveted on the resale market,” the auction company added on its website.
These sneakers have been listed for auction for USD 50,000 (approximately Rs. 42 lakhs in Indian currency). However, during the auction, buyers can bid even more.
It may be mentioned that recently Apple’s first generation iPhone was also bought for more than 1.5 crore rupees in an auction.
