Letter has been written to the CEO of Apple and Google
In the letter, Bennett wrote to Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai and Apple CEO Tim Cook that no company under the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) has the right to collect such extensive data on the American people or to collect data that is close to our population. One third should not have the power to curate.

He has further written that in view of these risks, I urge you to immediately remove Tiktok from your respective app stores.

In the House, which is now Republican-held, the Foreign Affairs Committee plans to vote this month on a bill aimed at curbing the use of TikTok in the United States, the committee has confirmed.
