A case has been registered against his wife Manpreet Kaur and her mother-in-law Kuldeep Kaur on the complaint of Balwinder Singh, father of the deceased.
His wife was barred from living in the village
Balwinder Singh said that Dilpreet Singh used to drive the Innova car privately. He often took Manpreet Kaur, who worked as a bar attendant, to weddings. After meeting both of them became close and decided to get married. After the marriage, Dilpreet was prevented from living in the village by his wife Manpreet, due to which a quarrel started between the two after the marriage.
The father said that Dilpreet had started staying at her mother-in-law’s house. A few days ago, when he came to the village, he told that his wife and mother-in-law insulted him in front of the village. After the incident on July 16, Dilpreet got upset and left with the Innova car. On July 17, his dead body was found in the Innova car under the Banur over bridge.
Called his wife before ending his life
Dilpreet also called his wife before ending his life. It is alleged that his wife spoke badly to him on the phone. The wife told her husband that she would end her life, after which Dilpreet ate something like that and she died. Banur in-charge Kirpal Singh said the accused’s wife and mother-in-law are absconding. A case has been registered against both of them. Both will be arrested soon.
