Anmol Gagan Mann has clearly said, we will not ally with anyone. We will contest the Lok Sabha elections alone on 13 seats. He said that the case at the national level is different and the case of Punjab is different. He clearly said that an alliance of INDIA has been formed at the national level. There is no alliance in Punjab. There is another type of politics in Punjab and national level politics has nothing to do with Punjab politics.
In fact, more than 26 parties have formed the INDIA alliance to defeat the BJP. They have had 3 meetings and have also planned to fight the Lok Sabha elections together.
Congress and AAP face to face in Punjab
Before the Aam Aadmi Party, the Punjab Congress has also said that it will contest the elections alone in 13 seats of Punjab. Punjab Congress president Raja Wedding also held a meeting with senior leaders of the party on Tuesday.
The Congress leaders had told in the meeting that they do not want to contest the election together with the Aam Aadmi Party. Now Punjab Congress President and Option Leader Pratap Bajwa will present the views of all the leaders before the High Command in the CWC meeting.
Earlier, Punjab Congress president Raja Wedding said, we are preparing to contest elections in all 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab. This is where the party high command has asked us to prepare to contest all the Lok Sabha seats.
