Bureau Report: After a dispute over a mobile phone, two brothers were shot dead in Mahima village of Mamdot in Ferozepur on Friday night. The deceased have been identified as 34-year-old Jagdish Singh and 36-year-old Kuldeep Singh of Araiwala Khurd of Faridkot. Both were admitted to Guru Gobind Singh Hospital in Faridkot in injured condition. Where he died during the treatment. Both of them are said to be the nephews of the deceased Ferozepur BJP rural in-charge Jaswinder Singh. On the basis of the complaint, the police has nominated 5 people and registered a case against them.
It is being told that a person named Sukhi alias Bashi sells drugs. Who had Jagdish’s mobile phone. He and his brother Kuldeep Singh had come to village Bhavra Azam Shah to take the phone from Sukhi.
Where there was an argument between the two parties. Sukhi started firing with her pistol. These bullets hit both Kuldeep Singh and Jagdish Singh. Due to profuse bleeding, both were referred to Faridkot where both were declared dead.
SPD Randhir Kumar said that the accused who opened fire in Mamdot village is a resident of Bhavra village. There was an argument between the accused and the deceased youth over the mobile phone. Several cases of murder have already been registered against the accused. The police are conducting raids to arrest him.
