9 people have died in a terrible accident in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. A truck hit an auto in Biharora village of Ramgarh Chowk police station area. In the accident, 9 people in the auto died, while some others were injured. The injured have been admitted to Sadar Hospital. The seriously injured have been referred to Patna. 8 deceased were residents of Munger district. The collision was so strong that the pillars of the auto were blown off. After hitting the auto, the truck driver fled from the spot along with his car. Police are investigating the accident.

According to information, the accident took place on Tuesday midnight on Lakhisarai Sikandra main road. Manoj Goswami, son of Mahaveer Goswami, a resident of Mahisona in Sadar block, used to drive an auto. After completing his work as a caterer from Sikandra in Jamui district, he was taking people going home from Sikandra to Lakhisarai station after making reserve bookings. Meanwhile, the auto collided head-on with a truck full of cement coming from Lakhisarai, which blew up the auto and injured all the passengers on board. 9 people including the driver died in the collision of the truck. Five were seriously injured.

Eight of the deceased are residents of Keshopur village Naya Tola Jangira and Jagdishpur village of Faridpur OP in Jamalpur police station area of Munger district. A deceased auto driver hails from Mahsona village of Lakhisarai Sadar Block. While all the injured are residents of Jangira and Naya Gaon in Faridpur OP area of Munger district. Amit Kumar and Deewana Kumar are brothers among the deceased. Vikas Kumar and Ankit Kumar are twin brothers. The truck driver escaped after stopping the vehicle near Aure Petrol Pump on Lakhisarai Sheikhpura Marg. Which has been seized by the police. The age of all the deceased was between 18-35 years.
