An 11th class student (14) who was planting paddy in the fields in Nawan Qila village of Ferozepur district died due to electrocution. The school has summer vacation due to which she was working with her parents planting paddy in the field.

Sarpanch of the village Randhir Singh said that paddy sowing work is going on in Punjab. Student Praveen Kaur died due to electrocution while planting paddy in Nawan Qila village. Praveen is a student of class 11 in a government school in village Karma. During the summer vacations, she was working with her parents to plant paddy in the field.

Feeling thirsty while planting paddy at nine in the morning, he went to the tubewell to drink water. There suddenly his hand touched the wire attached to the electric pole and was badly burnt. He was immediately rushed to Ferozepur Civil Hospital.

Where the doctors declared him dead after the checkup. The family members have demanded from the Punjab government that the economic condition of their house is very bad. There are two sisters and one brother who are still young and there is no earner in the family, they should be helped. Being electrocuted by an electric pole means the negligence of the employees of the electricity department. The electricity department should compensate the victim’s family.
