A man who arrived at the pool party said that he arrived at the pool party with his sister and brother-in-law, their child, and his fiancee. When he was prevented from doing so, the accused started firing. Meanwhile, some boys started throwing notes at the women, when they protested, the assailants started throwing bottles at them and then escaped after firing bullets.

Police recovered five cartridges from the spot. They have 2 live cartridges and 2 empty shells. The police took them into custody and started investigation. The police personnel questioned the people involved in the pool party after the incident. Apart from this, a list of people involved in the party was also asked from the organizers.
The attacker was seen on CCTV
The victim said that after carrying out the incident, the name of a young man has come to light, he was caught in the CCTV cameras installed in the party. The victim has identified the accused assailant as a resident of Mohali Sector-70. The victim expressed fear of losing his life and said that the accused will be identified only after the police investigation.
