6 people are said to be injured in this accident. According to the information that has come out, it is a Burma Army plane that crashed at the Lengpui Airport. An army plane of Myanmar has suffered an accident after it skidded off the runway.
The table top runway is believed to be the cause of the accident, as this runway is one of the most dangerous landing areas in the country. According to initial information, this plane was going to pick up its soldiers from India. It is being told that these soldiers came to Mizoram due to a caste uprising in Myanmar.
It is being told that 14 people were on board the plane which crashed. According to information, 14 people including the pilot have become victims of this accident.
The DGP of Mizoram said that the injured have been admitted to Lengpui Hospital. There are no reports of casualties yet.
