A fire broke out in a garment factory in Ludhiana

A terrible fire broke out in a cloth warehouse in Ludhiana, Punjab. Goods worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes due to fire. The fire broke out in Lakshmi Nagar street number 11. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Seeing the flames, people immediately informed the owner.

A garment factory was running in the house itself. The house was completely empty at the time of the accident. In no time, the fire engulfed two buildings. The piles of clothes in both the buildings were burnt to ashes. People tried hard to put out the fire themselves, but the fire took a terrible shape.

4 vehicles of fire brigade controlled the fire
The flames were visible from far away in the area. Due to the growing fire, people informed the fire brigade. Fire brigade personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Fire started to be controlled with water cannons. After about one and a half hours of struggle, the fire was brought under control. 4 vehicles of fire brigade reached the spot to control the fire.

The surrounding buildings were also evacuated due to the fire. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The police controlled the crowd. With the help of people, clothes and other goods were taken out of the factory.
