A female sub-inspector posted in Faridkot was shot

A female sub-inspector posted in Faridkot district has been shot. The bullet hit him in the chest. In an injured condition, he was admitted to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, where he has been referred to DMC Ludhiana, where his condition is critical. A team of doctors is engaged in their treatment.

Faridkot SP Jasmeet Singh has confirmed the incident. Police say that Joginder Kaur was shot with his own service revolver. The accident happened this morning when she was keeping her service revolver in the locker. Their condition remains critical.
