Fear of great loss
Due to the magnitude of the earthquake being 6.4 on the Richter scale, there is fear of major damage. According to Mahesh Palawat, Vice President of Meteorology and Climate Change, the magnitude of the earthquake was very high. It is capable of causing massive loss of life and property. They say that the situation after such an earthquake is very scary. However Delhi or North West are safe from it.
The latest information is that it was a major #earthquake of 6.4 intensity in Nepal. Capable of widespread destruction of life and property. Aftershocks possible. I need to panic. #Delhi and NW India are safe. @SkymetWeather @JATINSKYMET https://t.co/PIduGbPegX
