Cases of Corona are increasing continuously in Punjab. The latest case has come from Jalandhar. In the district on Sunday, where 7 patients recovered from Corona, the report of 7 people also came positive. According to the information, the health department received a total of 8 positive corona reports from different government and private laboratories on Sunday and one of them was found to belong to another district. The age of 7 patients who came positive from the district is between 21 to 78 years and they include 2 members of a family. These patients are residents of Jain Colony, Gulab Devi Road, Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Urban Estate, Sangal Sohal and Kartarpur.
It is worth mentioning that ever since the corona virus started, the health department has taken samples of 25,39,445 people in the district for the confirmation of corona virus and out of them the report of 81,557 has come positive. Of the total patients who came positive, 79,460 have recovered and 1,987 have died.
Currently, the number of active cases in the district is 110. Among these active cases, 1 patient P. G. I. Chandigarh, 8 Military Hospitals, 3 Innocent Hearts Hospitals, 2 Sikka Hospitals, 1 Civil Hospital, 1 Johal Hospital and 1 patient are undergoing treatment at Apex Hospital. Apart from these, 10 such corona patients are also under treatment in different hospitals of the district, who are residents of other districts.
