With this, the number of active cases has increased to 35199.
The central government has realized the increasing threat of Corona, that is why now it has also come into alert mode. Along with this, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also visit AIIMS Jhajjar in Haryana and take stock of the preparations.
Why are the cases increasing?
In fact, this time Omicron’s sub-variant XBB1.16 is being said to be the cause of increasing cases of Corona. The hand of this sub-variant is being said to be behind the increasing cases of Corona in Delhi as well. This is the reason why the government now wants to be fully prepared to deal with any situation.
Mock drills in hospitals across the country
Under this, mock drills will be conducted in hospitals across the country on Monday and Tuesday. This can include both government and private hospitals. In fact, the Union Health Minister in a meeting with the State Health Ministers had asked them to conduct mock drills in hospitals. Munsukh Mandaviya will also visit AIIMS Jhajjar to observe this mock drill.
699 new cases of Corona have been reported in Delhi while 4 people have died. After this, the number of infected here has increased to 2014637. On Sunday, the infection rate in Delhi NCR was 21.15 percent. Apart from this, 788 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra while one has died. Along with this, 165 new cases of Corona have been reported in Rajasthan. Corona cases are also increasing in Noida and Ghaziabad. Omicron’s XBB.1.16 sub-variant may also be behind it.
