Bihar Crime News: Rail worker Jitendra Ram was murdered in the railway quartet located on Cantt Road under East Colony police station area of Jamalpur city of Munger. His wife and lover together killed Jitendra by hitting him on the head with an iron rod on Sunday morning. While the police reached the information of the incident, arrested the wife and lover, took the dead body in possession and sent it to Munger Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

It is said that Jitendra Kumar, who was posted as a Class IV employee in the accounts section of Rail Engine Factory, Jamalpur, lived in his quarter number-2 CD located on Cantt Road. In the morning there was a dispute between the husband and wife regarding something. Gradually the dispute escalated and wife Mamta Kumari along with her lover assaulted Jitendra. Meanwhile, Mamta’s lover hit Jitendra on the head with an iron rod. In this he died on the spot.
The deceased’s wife and her blood-soaked lover arrested
Mamta informed about the death to her father-in-law Joginder Ram. After this Jitendra’s acquaintances started reaching the railway quarter and informed the police. On information, the police took possession of the dead body and arrested Ajit Kumar and wife Mamta, the lover of the deceased’s wife, who were covered in blood. At the time when Jitendra was murdered, Aditya Raj, a five year old son of the deceased was also present there who is in great panic.
A day ago the lover had reached Jamalpur from Delhi
It is said that Mamta’s lover Ajit Kumar had reached Jamalpur from Delhi on Saturday. Soni Kumari, the sister of the deceased, said that as part of a well-planned conspiracy, lover Ajit Kumar and his sister-in-law Mamta Kumari called some of their other associates and first closed the door of the quarter from both sides. Those people knew that Jitendra would stay at home early in the morning due to Sunday being a holiday. That’s why those people killed Jitendra by hitting him with sticks and iron rods.

Station head Vijay Kumar Yadvendra told that wife Mamta and her lover Ajit Kumar together killed railway worker Jitendra Ram. The accused wife and lover have been arrested by the police. The iron rod used in the murder has also been recovered from the spot. The police is investigating the case.
