Geologist Prof. According to Varinder Singh Dhar, the mountains of Himachal are being cut directly for wide roads. Due to this, there is a risk of landslides in the sloping areas of Himachal Pradesh. Landslides due to explosions in tunnels and hydro projects are also on the rise.
