Amrit Bharat Station Yojna: ‘Amrit Bharat Station Yojna’ is one of the dream projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They want to equip all major railway stations of the country with modern facilities.
Railway Station Development: On the 6th, PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Plan’ designed for the redevelopment of 500 railway stations across the country. Under this scheme, 22 of Punjab Railway stations Along with this, state-of-the-art facilities will also be provided at Chandigarh Railway Station.
Welcoming this plan of the Prime Minister, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh Banwarilal Purohit (Banwari Lal Purohit) thanked Prime Minister Modi on Friday. Under this scheme, an amount of about 5000 crore rupees has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Railways. Punjab BJP has also thanked the PM.
On 6th August 2023 on Sunday, the foundation stone for the development of Dhuri Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme will be laid by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi (through video conferencing) at a cost of Rs 37.69 crore.
