2 teachers from Ludhiana, Punjab will get National Teacher Award. The list released for the National Teacher Awards 2023 includes the names of both the teachers. This year, 50 teachers have been selected for this award based on applications received from across the country.
The names of Amritpal Singh, teacher of Government Senior Secondary School Chhappar Pakhowal, Ludhiana and Bhupinder Gogia, teacher of Satpal Mittal School are included in this list. Teachers will be awarded on September 5. All arrangements have been made for the stay of teachers at Hotel Ashok New Delhi from 3rd to 6th September.
154 applications came from all over the country
According to the information, 6 teachers from across Punjab who fulfilled the prescribed qualification applied for this award. While a total of 154 nominations were received from across the country. Out of which the National Level Judging Panel has selected 50 based on various criteria of 100 marks.
This time teachers were required to have 10 years of service in the education sector. Along with this, the teachers had to describe the work done during their tenure in an application of 1500 words.
