Bureau Report: Incidents of snake bites are continuously increasing in Punjab. In Tarn Taran, 2 elder brothers of the same family have died due to snake bite. As soon as the family came to know, they took the children to the hospital but it was too late. The poison had spread throughout the body, both the brothers died during the treatment. The family cannot believe that the two sons who slept with them at night have left this world forever.
The accident took place in Mundapind, a village adjacent to Beas in Tarn Taran. The two deceased brothers have been identified as 8-year-old Gurditta Singh and 10-year-old Princepal Singh. The family said that the two brothers slept laughing at night. At 5 o’clock in the morning when he woke up, one brother complained of pain in his ear and the other said pain in his hand. Both their ears and hands were swollen. Seeing this, the family got scared, no one could understand anything. Immediately went to the hospital, the darters told that the children were bitten by a snake. The family lost their senses because they were also sleeping with both of them.

The family said that the doctors had started their treatment in the hospital. But it was too late, both the brothers died during the treatment. The villagers said that they were four brothers and sisters. After the death of 2 sons in a single night, only 2 sisters are left with grandfather, grandmother parents.
