2 arrested trying to get a teacher’s job through forgery

Education Department Punjab has initiated legal action against two persons who are trying to get jobs through forgery during the recruitment of 5994 ETT cadre. Giving information in this regard, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the scrutiny was going on regarding the recruitment of 5994 ETT cadre.

During which the fingerprint and original photograph of Gurpreet Singh son of Ranjit Singh resident of village Chotian, district Mansa did not match with the photograph and fingerprint taken during the written examination. Due to which the police has been written to initiate legal action in this regard.

Bains said that similarly, during scrutiny, Sandeep Kumar son of Subhash, resident of village Haji Betu Dakkhana Panje Ke Utar, Narinderpal Singh son of Gurdayal Singh, resident of village Fattuala, was caught with fake Aadhaar card and fake voter card while getting documents checked during biometric process.

He said that the Punjab government led by Bhagwant Mann is committed to provide a transparent and corruption-free system to the people.
