110 feet asteroid coming close to the earth with a speed of 23000 km says Nasa

An asteroid as big as a 110-foot airplane is going to pass close to our Earth today. Its name is- ‘Asteroid (2023 FT1)’. Scientists are monitoring this ‘rock disaster’. It has been included in the category of ‘potentially dangerous’ for the earth. This means that if such an asteroid collides with the Earth, it can cause massive destruction. Scientists have been believing that millions of years ago, dinosaurs were also destroyed from our planet due to the destruction caused by an asteroid collision.

NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory told It is said that when ‘Asteroid (2023 FT1)’ will be closest to our earth, then the distance between the two will be 74 lakh 60 thousand kilometers. This distance may seem large to you, but nothing compared to the vastness of the universe. Scientists consider this distance very close to the Earth, that is why ‘Asteroid (2023 FT1)’ has been included in the category of ‘potentially dangerous’.

Although it is unlikely to hit our planet, scientists will continue to monitor the ‘asteroid (2023 FT1)’ until it passes too far. The American Space Agency has told that this asteroid is running towards our planet at a dangerous speed of 23 thousand 790 kilometers per hour. It belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids.

Seeing the danger of asteroids, scientists are also working on their permanent solution. NASA’s DART mission which was successful last year is a hallmark of this. Through the DART mission, NASA changed the direction of a spacecraft by colliding with an asteroid. Scientists feel that if an asteroid becomes a threat to the Earth in the future, then its direction can also be changed like the DART mission.

Asteroids are also called minor planets. NASA’s AccordingLike all the planets of our solar system revolve around the Sun, similarly the asteroids also revolve around the Sun.
