WPL 2023: Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians team’s jersey look revealed

The first edition of the Women’s Premier League is now a week away. Let us tell you that Women’s IPL is starting from March 4, in which the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have shared the first look of their jersey ahead of the first match of the Women’s IPL (WPL 2023). The franchise unveiled the jersey by sharing a video through its official Instagram account.

In fact, BCCI has announced the schedule for the first edition of Women’s IPL. In the first season, a total of 5 teams will play 22 matches, out of which all the matches will be played at DY Patil and Brabourne stadiums in Mumbai. A total of five teams Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, UP Warriors, Rai Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will be involved in the tournament, which will see a clash between them.

Let us tell you that the first match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will take place on March 4, before which Mumbai Indians have revealed the look of their jersey.

The color of the Mumbai Indians (Mumbai Indians Jersey WPL) jersey is light blue with a dark gold border on the sides. Meanwhile, the franchise wrote in the caption, “This is our first #WPL jersey, with sun, sea and blue and gold all mixed together”.

The first season of this tournament will have a total of 20 league matches and two playoff matches, which will be played over a period of 23 days. Along with this, there will be a total of 4 double headers in the tournament. This means that two matches will be played in one day. The first match will be a double header, which will be played at 3:30 PM.
