The Finance Minister said in his budget speech that the government would cut custom duty on certain parts like camera lenses. Apart from this, the concessional duty on lithium-ion cells used in batteries will be extended for one more year. However, smartphone companies will not reduce the prices of phones if they do not want to give benefits to the customers.

iPhone can also be cheap
After this decision of the government, Apple’s iPhone is also likely to be cheaper. Let us tell you that Apple is rapidly increasing the production of iPhone in India. In such a situation, after the announcement of reduction in custom duty, there is a possibility of reduction in the prices of iPhone.
