The BJP and the Congress are at loggerheads over the appointment of retired Supreme Court judge Justice Abdul S Nazeer as the governor. The Congress criticized the Modi government over such appointments and cited the comments of late Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley against it.
