It is being told that the option of split screen will also be available in the call and status tab. According to the website WABetaInfo, which leaked this feature of WhatsApp, WhatsApp is working on adding split screen to the tablet version.

The report has also shared a screenshot showing how the feature will look once it is rolled out. After the introduction of this feature, users will be able to switch between conversation and multitask very easily. At present, this feature is available only for Android beta users and it is expected that very soon it will be rolled out to other users.
