WhatsApp 21 new emojis: WhatsApp keeps coming up with new features to make its users happy. The instant messaging app is now going to bring 21 new emoji for the users. The company has just introduced this emoji only for the users using its beta version. Soon normal users will also be able to use them. These new emoji will be part of the latest Unicode 15.0 update. Its information has been shared by wabetainfo, a website that monitors the development and new updates of WhatsApp.
How are the new emoji?
The 21 new emoji being introduced on WhatsApp were previously only available on the third-party keyboard. Users could only send them using the optional keyboard. After the new update comes, these emoji will be added to the earlier emoji list. It also has three different colored heart emojis, which are being well-liked by the users. It also includes a face holding back tears, a pleading face, a duck, and a shaking face emoji.
Other new features of WhatsApp
WhatsApp is reportedly about to develop a brand new feature. It can be introduced in the name of ‘Silence Unknown Callers’. This feature will give the user access to mute calls from unknown numbers by showing them in the call list and notification center. This new feature is currently in development phase on Android WhatsApp beta version.
iOS users will also get new update
Apart from this, WhatsApp is also set to roll out a new ‘Push name in the chat list’ feature on its iOS beta. As reported by wabetainfo, beta testers will now be able to see the push name in the chat list instead of the phone number every time they receive a message from an unknown group member.
