Along with this, 200 people have been trapped due to flood in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Mandi-Kullu National Highway was blocked. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed Chardham pilgrims to proceed with their journey only after checking the weather update.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in 25 states of the country for the next two days. These states include Jharkhand, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi. are included , Eastern Rajasthan, Gujarat, Central Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
